Position Overview:
As a Project Manager at FreeCast Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our projects by implementing agile methodologies, overseeing multiple projects across various departments, and ensuring efficient resource allocation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and services that meet our clients' needs and exceed industry standards.

This is a perfect opportunity for those looking to move to the next level of their Project Management career, believes leaders should help the team by doing rather than delegating, and takes ownership of each project they manage. Speed and efficiency is key here are FreeCast, as we move quicker than most companies when it comes to deployment of improvements and completion of projects, so this person must be able to keep up and thrive in this type of fun but driven environment. This person will report directly to the VP of Technical Innovations.

**This is an On-Site only position, so please ensure you are prepared to work full-time in our Orlando HQ Office Monday thru Friday before submitting your application.

** We prefer someone who is already local to quickly bring them onboard. This job requires interaction with the internal HQ Team on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to Agile principles and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Develop and maintain project roadmaps, timelines, and resource allocation plans to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and requirements, and establish clear communication channels throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively, and implement effective strategies to address them in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies to foster collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular status updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and innovation within the project teams, promoting a shared understanding of project goals and priorities.
  • Collaborate with departmental managers to allocate resources effectively, balancing project requirements with team capacity and capabilities.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize project management processes and tools to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, SAFe) is a plus.
  • Proven experience (X years) in project management, with a focus on Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, practices, and tools, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate team members, stakeholders, and executives.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project roadmapping, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience working in the media, entertainment, or technology industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello) and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite).

An employee’s pay position will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.

Additional forms of compensation will be discussed with candidates during the time of a final interview.
