Martin Aquatic is Hiring a Project Manager Near Orlando, FL

Martin Aquatic is seeking a Project Manager, who is responsible for overseeing and actively participating in various aspects of project management for our waterpark/theme park division. With project management experience, the candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating tasks, project scheduling, and managing multiple projects at the same time. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Autodesk software, particularly AutoCAD and/or Revit and have experience with Project Management software. This role involves proactive communication with clients and external consultants, utilizing Microsoft Outlook for effective written correspondence. The Project Manager will be involved in the design direction, file coordination, internal quality control reviews, and the timely delivery of high-quality drawing packages to clients. Martin Aquatic has a rich 35-year history in the design field and is looking for a talented team member to help create world-class features.

Candidate must be able to work with a team of designers and engineers. Successful candidate will work in Orlando, Florida, on preparing construction drawings for projects located in the US and abroad.

Qualifications & Skills
• 1-2 years of Project Management experience
• Proven working knowledge of the Architectural Design Process
• Proficient in Autodesk Software (AutoCAD minimum, Revit experience valued)
• PDF markup and management tool experience (Bluebeam)
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook with exceptional written communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of other Microsoft Office products
• Proficiency in Windows Operating System file and folder management use
• Solid skills utilizing web-based platform apps and Project Management Software
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Manage projects and coordinate with internal and external counterparts
• Learn aquatic industry standards and terminology
• Ability to manage demanding clients, schedules and deadlines
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Excellent client-facing verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of web-based file management software (ACC, A360, ProCore, etc.)

Responsibilities & Duties
• Coordinate with Director for Design Direction of each project at the commencement of each project
• Develop working knowledge of water park aquatics, hydraulic and structural systems
• Project Scheduling and Management
• Project Task Coordination and Delegation via cloud-based project management software platform
• Design and file coordination with client and external design consultants (Owner’s representatives, Architects, Landscape Architects, MEP Engineers, Civil Engineers, etc) via e-mail, phone calls and video conferences
• Promptly respond to all e-mails and inquiries (24 hours maximum) with acknowledgement of receipt at minimum. Coordinate with team members as needed to provide full responses.
• Design and file management and coordination with internal production team
• Develop working knowledge of established company design and documentation standards to mitigate design flaws prior to the quality control review process
• Coordinate internal quality control review and corresponding design document update process prior to drawing package issuances
• Regularly communicate and update Director with project statuses, needs and progress
• Continual project progress monitoring
• Managing projects through the various design stages (Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documents)
• Delivery of high-quality completed drawing packages to client on schedule
• Ability to travel to a project site to oversee construction progress as requested
