Perplexity is looking for a People Ops Generalist to play a key role in various HR functions, ensuring that our employees feel supported, engaged, and empowered to do their best work.

Responsibilities

• Managing employee onboarding and offboarding processes
• Maintaining accurate employee records and databases, including personnel files and benefits enrollment
• Serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other related matters
• Keeping abreast of HR trends and best practices and making recommendations for continuous improvement
• Providing administrative support to the team as needed
• Managing the end-to-end immigration process for international hires, including visa applications, work permits, and permanent residency applications
• Serving as the primary point of contact for employees regarding immigration-related inquiries, providing guidance and support to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Partnering with external legal counsel and government agencies to obtain necessary documentation and approvals for immigration cases

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of Human Resources/People Operations experience, preferably at a high-growth tech company or start-up
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate a high level of professionalism with the ability to build rapport and collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment and a willingness to take on new challenges and initiatives

The cash compensation for this role is $110,000 - $135,000.
