Bloom Talent is Hiring a People Operations Generalist at Fast Growing AI Startup Near San Francisco, CA
Fast-growing AI startup is looking for a People Operations Generalist to join their team of 53. With their recent Series B funding and plans to double over the next few months, it’s an incredibly exciting time to join. You will manage various People & HR-related functions such as onboarding and offboarding, performance reviews, immigration and visa process, and employee-related benefits. Someone friendly, extremely proactive, and resourceful. Previous experience and knowledge of immigration and international visas is a huge plus! This is a hybrid role (Monday, Weds & Friday in-office) based in downtown San Francisco. 110-120K DOE equity, benefits, daily meals provided, 401k, wellness stipend, and unlimited PTO!
Responsibilities:
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other related matters.
Manage new employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
Maintain accurate employee records and databases, including personnel files and benefits enrollment.
Keep abreast of HR trends and best practices and make recommendations for continuous improvement and compliance.
Manage the end-to-end immigration process for international hires, including visa applications, work permits, and permanent residency applications. Serving as the primary point of contact for employees regarding immigration-related inquiries, providing guidance and support to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Partner with external legal counsel and government agencies to obtain necessary documentation and approvals for immigration cases.
Oversee performance review cycles for employees.
Managing employee-centric programs and benefits. Research to support Total Rewards strategy.
Provide general administrative support to the team as needed.
Qualifications:
2-4 years of Human Resources/People Operations experience, preferably at a high-growth tech company or start-up.
Experience and knowledge of the immigration and visa process is a plus!
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate a high level of professionalism with the ability to build rapport and collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment and a willingness to take on new challenges and initiatives.
