Description
Chronicle Books is looking for an Operations Billing Coordinator to coordinate and execute all invoicing/billing for sales handled by Chronicle Books. This role requires close communication with internal and external stakeholders and will also necessitate reliability in meeting billing deadlines. The Operations Billing Coordinator is a critically important role that ensures that Chronicle Books properly records payment of services and products sold.
The Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for invoices and billing, they will process transportation invoicing and enter invoices into our freight database, along with processing consignment invoicing monthly and inventory transactions. They will also be responsible for invoicing of direct sales, they will coordinate digital, audio, and personalization sales billing monthly as well as review and process weekly and monthly billing items including transportation, digital sales, etc.
Employees at Chronicle Books follow a flexible hybrid schedule of working a minimum of 3 days per week and up to 4 days per week in our San Francisco office, depending on project and business needs. Hiring Salary Range: $26.45/hr - $28.85/hr. When annualized, and based on a 40-hour work week, the annual salary range for this hourly position would be $55k - $60k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the expected salary for this position and will be determined by factors including but not limited to the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, and geographic location as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This position is also eligible for our profit share plan.

Requirements
Qualified applicants will need 1-3 years of professional work experience in Operations/Account Management/Bookkeeping, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and strong administrative skills. Experience with Oracle systems is preferred, but not required. Applicants should be organized, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines along with exhibiting strong communication skills. We are looking for candidates who have adaptability, a willingness to learn and ask questions, coupled with a customer service focus.
