Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our medical office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical office management, financial management, and utilization management. As the Medical Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the office, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations, and managing the budget.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the medical office, including administrative and clinical operations
- Implement and maintain efficient systems and processes to improve workflow
- Manage electronic health record system (NextGen) and ensure accurate documentation
- Coordinate with hospital departments to ensure seamless patient care
- Develop and implement utilization management strategies to optimize resources
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Manage financial operations, including budgeting, billing, and revenue cycle management
- Supervise office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth
