Position summary:
Corporate quality assurance serves as the quality hub for the Company region, specializing in quality reporting and communication of quality themes. As corporate quality assurance administrator, a successful candidate will gather necessary information from customer portals, manufacturing plants, internal databases, and suppliers in order to create various reports on time and accurate.
The corporate quality assurance administrator will also have responsibilities to coordinate yearly regulatory testing to ensure parts are ordered and delivered on time to meet overall schedule requirements. The administrator candidate will be responsible to plan and execute a yearly regional quality improvement competition conference, generating fresh ideas to facilitate participation from all facilities within the region.
Qualifications:
Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
1 years of experience in manufacturing preferred (work or school).
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook.
Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action methods.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management, both internal and external.
Ability to multitask on a daily basis and deliver results within strict time frames.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
Japanese or Spanish communication skills preferred, but not required.
Internal auditing experience preferred, but not required.
IATF/ISO/VDA certification knowledge preferred, but not required.
QAD (or other) EQMS database experience preferred, but not required.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
Create daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports as assigned.
Coordinate yearly compliance testing through ordering parts and monitoring scheduled activities.
Plan and promote a yearly regional quality improvement idea competition conference.
Support business planning activities at division, department, section, group, and personal levels.
Communicate with Japan headquarters.
