Quality Assurance Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all survey prep and education regarding the plan of correction (POC).
• Manage and complete all survey binders and clinical audits for surveys.
• Conduct year round survey prep-according to schedule of weekly survey prep This includes observations and competencies for nurses and .STNAs.
• Assist with managing surveys, making sure all department heads are on their scheduled assignments. Nurse will also be present with all observations during surveys such as treatments, med pass, incontinence care to provide extra support to nurses and STNAs
• Participate in daily stand down meetings to discuss any concerns that could be a survey issue.
• Participate in the development of Quality Improvement initiatives and programs to improve overall quality in the facility.
• Meet with new admissions daily to follow up on any concerns.
• Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state
• CPR certification
• Covid 19 vaccination or acceptable exemption required.
