Fox River Associates is Hiring a Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS)/Inventory Assistant Near Columbus, OH

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Quality Assurance Specialist/Inventory Assistant to join our team. The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the implementation and maintenance of quality control procedures and ensuring ISO compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

● Support all sales and staff with quality knowledge of product performance and processes.

● Review and implementing all regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

● Work with suppliers to meet quality demands and product specifications.

● Assist in supplier rating to ensure quality status.

● Document control responsibilities within Fox River’s QMS.

● Manage, assign and investigate customer and supplier complaints.

● Manage Fox River’s continuous improvement program to enhance customer satisfaction.

● Complete customer surveys and coordinate requested audits.

● Maintain schedule of all internal or external audits performed to ensure performance to QMS standards.

● Monitor Fox River’s ability to meet stated quality objectives and ensure all employees understand and strive to meet these objectives.

● Report to the Management Team quality performance and any regulatory concerns.

● Determine resources needed to effectively manage Fox River’s QMS.

● Follow-up on supplier order acknowledgments, verify pricing, order accuracy, and ship dates

● Maintain material inventory data which involves entering order and shipping information, packing lists, and supplier invoices into SharePoint.

● Confirm receipt of warehouse transferred material and incoming supplier inventory shipments

● Assist with inventory reconciliations and cycle counts as required

Qualifications:

● Bachelors degree

● Extensive Quality Management knowledge (2-4 years).

● Auditor certification by accredited body (Certified Quality Engineer/Certified Quality Technician/ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Training)

●NetSuite experience required

● Ability to manage assigned task, review effectiveness and report findings.

● Ability to work effectively with internal and external people.

● Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

● Strong document control literacy including proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite.

● Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

● Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

● Critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
