Maintains detailed inventory records of all materials, tools, supplies and equipment; arranges materials and supplies for easy access and identification; Prepares requests for routine replacement parts, equipment, inventory and supplies to maintain prescribed inventory levels; receives deliveries and ensures shipments are the proper quantity and in compliance with order specifications; assists in unloading of items ordered; operates equipment or motor vehicles to deliver or pick up parts, supplies and equipment; responsible for charging out parts and adding parts to inventory; Able to lead and conduct physical inventory and audit at the end of each year and throughout the year as needed/requested

Adheres to all safe work practices, OSHA, and agency policies and procedures; Determines proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities; Ensures locked security of all parts and equipment in parts room; work with management, IT, and garage employees on eliminating inventory variances; Create and implement new procedures and forms as needed to assist in improving job functions with approval of Director of Transportation and Quality Assurance Manager

Prepares reports and correspondence as required; responsible for documenting parts requests; operates computer and office equipment; Performs minor repairs on equipment, parts, radio systems and vehicles as needed; manages safety items within the garage arena; manages the recycling process for the garage; Maintains schedule and documentation required by OSHA including but not limited to Safety Data Sheets

Performs other related duties as assigned
