Position Schedule: Full time Days and Evenings
As a Line Cook, you will prepare/cook hot and cold foods according to production plans and standardized recipes, display and serve hot and cold food in an appropriate and attractive manner, assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, store and dispose of food according to policies and procedures, assist in maintaining food storage, help put away food deliveries and work at different food stations as assigned.
You have a talent for interacting with a wide variety of people, particularly the elderly and their family members. You have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year in institutional or restaurant cooking and/or baking. You are able to operate various food service equipment items. You are able to maintain a customer focus treating all customers with respect and integrity and are able to read, speak, and understand the English language. You may also possess culinary arts training.
