About Us:

Central Texas Restaurant Group currently operates 17 restaurants throughout Texas. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:
As a Full Charge Bookkeeper at CTRG, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to handle a wide range of financial responsibilities. Given the critical nature of this role and its interaction with management, this role is in-office only.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Ledger Maintenance:
  • Manage and maintain the general ledger in QB Online, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable:
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
  • Generate and send invoices to clients, follow up on overdue payments, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Payroll Processing:
  • Handle payroll processing, including calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and timely submission of payroll taxes.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
  • Provide insights into financial trends and variances to assist in decision-making.
  • Budget Management:
  • Collaborate with management to develop and monitor budgets.
  • Track expenses and compare them to the budget, providing recommendations for cost-saving measures.
  • Monthly Sales Tax Preparation:
  • Prepare and file monthly Sales tax reports
  • Work with external accountants to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Financial Analysis:
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic planning and business decisions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks), Microsoft Excel, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $49,339.00 - $55,000.00 per year
