Father and Son Masonry is a growing business seeking a Human Resource Generalist that can immediately add value to the organization and mesh with the dynamic, hardworking, and adaptable team that exists today. The selective Human Resource Generalist will assist in all HR operations at our office. This is a part time position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with onboarding, company policy and procedure implementation and safety compliance in construction.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Maintain employee files and all employee recordkeeping
• Conduct employee recruitment placing ads.
• Work with managers to screen and interview candidates
• Conduct employee onboarding and separation of employment processing
• Design and administer HR policies and procedures per AZ law.
• Assist with payroll administration
• Work closely with safety to ensure safety compliance, manage safety incidents and assist in managing light/modified duty.
• Other tasks or duties as assigned by the Company

Job Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
• 5 years of construction human resource experience
• OSHA certification a plus
• Bilingual Spanish
• Proficient in Google Products such as sheets, docs, slides, etc…
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem solving/analytical skills with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative, use good judgment, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and follow-up and carry multiple projects through to completion.
