Description

SUMMARY OF MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist who is fluent in Mandarin and English. The HR Generalist will assist with various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, and HR administration.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including job posting, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating candidate assessments
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation processes
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations
  • Provide support in employee relations matters, including conducting investigations, resolving conflicts, and implementing disciplinary actions as needed
  • Assist with performance management processes, including performance appraisals, goal-setting, and performance improvement plans
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Assist with employee training and development initiatives
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Stay updated on employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws
  • Handle HR administrative tasks, such as preparing employment contracts, letters, and reports
  • Collaborate with other departments to address HR-related issues and support business objectives

Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (both written and verbal)
  • Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
  • Knowledge of HRIS and ATS systems is a plus
  • 2 years of experience in HR or related field
