Team Overview

We're looking for a Business Partner to join our Global HR Team based in New York. The Business Partner role is integral to the continued strategic growth of the HR function, taking responsibility for aligning business goals with employees and management across all areas of our business.

You'll be a trusted thought partner within the HR and Leadership Team based across our 9 global offices. In doing so you'll play an important role in helping position the company for continued growth and success.

Role Responsibilities

  • Partner with our senior leaders to ensure a deep understanding of business strategy and implement high-quality HR practices supporting the organizations strategic imperatives
  • Coach and advise our people using data-informed recommendations that improve performance, retention and the overall employee experience
  • Collaborate with our global HR team to drive the best outcomes for the business including; talent acquisition, HR Operations, talent development, performance management and employee relations
  • Play a leading role in global HR activities, shaping culture, and driving employee engagement
  • Lead on a range of strategic projects such as; headcount planning, engagement, performance and compensation
  • Provision guidance on departmental restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
  • Day-to-day performance management guidance for managers, offering advice on complex employee relations matters including disciplinaries and grievances
  • Maintain knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing risks and ensuring compliance
  • Identify business wide training needs utilizing data and metrics with the aim of developing scalable solutions, programs and policies

Required Skills

  • 4 years experience as a HR business partner operating within a multinational remit – ideally working closely with a tech organization or function
  • CIPD Level 7 qualification or proven experience in a similar capacity
  • Experience operating in a scaling global organization
  • Previous hands-on experience of HR Operations and Talent Acquisition
  • Experience in project management, change management and cultural transformation
  • In-depth knowledge of compliance and labor laws in the UK, EU and US
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels
  • Highly articulate in both written and verbal communication
  • Ability to multi-task, manage ambiguity and to work through complexities in an ever-changing and high-growth business environment

In compliance with New York City's Salary Disclosure Law, the annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. EquiLend considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
