Who are you?

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the entire scope of human resources management activities, including recruitment, benefits and leaves administration, administration of HR policies and programs, compliance with state and federal employment laws, performance management coaching and consulting, employee records management.

In addition to the regular responsibilities, the Human Resources Generalist is expected to build credible relationships with all levels of internal customers allowing for better decisions and organizational effectiveness, understand and support the accomplishment of business priorities, is involved in solving complex HR-related issues, and acts as a resource for team members. It is expected that the Human Resources Generalist assures company policies are administered fairly and consistently. In order to be successful, the Human Resources Generalist is eager to learn and grow, listens and communicates effectively, functions effectively independently as well as part of a team, and is able to be agile and pivot quickly.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform full cycle recruiting and interviewing of qualified job applicants for open positions at multiple company locations
  • Conduct on site new hire orientation in coordination with HR team members at other ENTEK facilities
  • Coordinate employee and community engagement events
  • Assist with the development and administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines to align the workforce with strategic company goals
  • Manage all types of leaves of absence in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws
  • Facilitates the quarterly audits of employee records in compliance with state and federal requirements
  • Handles employment related issues and concerns with professional discretion and confidentiality
  • Communicates HR best practices and new regulations to site leaders as they pertain to operations
  • Perform advanced employee relations functions, including support and counseling regarding personnel and job-related conflicts, problem solving and dispute resolution, managing employee performance issues, review and assessment of termination requests, conduct complex/sensitive investigations, and conduct exit interviews.
  • Assists with all other functions in human resources as needed.

Experience and Skills:

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least two years of human resources experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • SHRM-CP preferred
  • Proficient with the suite of tools from Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in Paylocity preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Off-hour availability in support of a 24/7 operation.

An offer of employment will be made contingent upon satisfactory results from a background check and a drug screen (excluding THC).
Job Benefits:

Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000
