As a member of Enriched Livings leadership team, and in coordination with Enriched Living organizational goals, the Human Resources Director will evaluate and maintain HR systems to develop, maintain, and retain talent to meet the needs of Enriched Living.
Duties and Responibilities:
· Direct communication with the CEO, COO, and Board regarding key human resources matters.
· Enriched Living is a EOS operated organization, and this position will be expected to know/learn how to implement EOS throughout the organization.
· This position will be responsible for balancing all Enriched Living, LLC stakeholder interests.
· Maintain current knowledge and application of all relevant laws and regulations at the local, state and national level relating to employment compliance. This includes educating and advising senior leadership on HR-related legal and regulatory matters.
· Oversight and management of labor relations including worker compensation insurance, unemployment, and other legal proceedings.
· Ensure HR programs, practices and policies are aligned.
· Ensure that employee records are properly and securely maintained.
· Ensure required training is present and maintained within employee files in accordance with MN Statute 245D standards.
· Oversee recruitment efforts to ensure that the organization is effectively and efficiently sourcing and selecting the right candidates.
· Develop and drive talent management strategies to ensure effective staffing alignment with the needs of the business and organizational health.
· Create systems to attract talent, identify critical talent needs, compliance with core competencies.
· Identify ways to increase staff retention and productivity, including strategies to enhance employee engagement, regular feedback and coaching, and promoting Enriched Living organizational culture.
· Oversee the administration of the performance management process.
· Collaborate effectively with management staff to actively participate in identifying and addressing performance gaps and use of Performance Improvement Plans.
· Mitigate legal risk to the organization through leadership and maintenance of systems and processes including conflict management, investigating and handling complaints of harassment/discrimination or other allegations.
· Oversight and supervision regarding Enriched Living’s handling of employee conflicts, disciplinary action, and termination.
· Maintain and implement the compensation system and benefit package ensuring payroll and employee benefits are monitored and issues are proactively addressed.
· Supervision of Recruiting, Training and Human Resource Generalist positions.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent years of experience in Human Resources or related field
· A minimum of 5 years of HR generalist experience partnering directly with senior leadership to implement HR and organizational strategies.
Preferred: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Labor Relations.
· SPHR, SHRM or similar HR Certification
· Expertise in analysis, critical decision making, project management, and process improvement.
· Experience supervising and developing staff
· Experience implementing strategies and systems for employee talent management, compensation, benefits, and HR technology.
· Working knowledge of employment laws and other compliance issues
· Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
· Outstanding judgement, sensitivity and ability to exercise a high level of discretion
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR system applications
· Must have a valid Driver’s License, reliable vehicle and proof of auto insurance.
Working conditions and physical requirements:
· This position will require sitting for long periods of time, walking, standing, bending, and walking, as well as using fine motor skills, such as finger dexterity for typing.
· This position could be exposed to loud noises and frequent phone conversations.
· Must be able to speak clearly in small group settings.
· Must be able to carry and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
· Must be available to travel to company office locations as needed
