Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is a leading provider of home health services dedicated to improving the quality of life for our clients in the comfort of their own home. We're seeking an HR Specialist to join our team in Dallas, TX.

The HR Specialist I is responsible for the data entry of employee information into PeopleSoft and HCHB, managing corporate employee personnel files and renewables, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

This role is crucial in providing clear communication regarding company HR policies and procedures and will contribute to best-in-class HR administrative services. We're looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
This position is located at 6688 N. Central Expressway, Dallas, TX 75206.
Hybrid eligible: Once fully trained, this position will be eligible to work remotely 2-3 days per week.

• Enter new hire and employee changes into PeopleSoft and HCHB accurately
• Provide clear communication regarding incomplete paperwork or inconsistent policies related to employee changes; ensure timely receipt of necessary documentation for audit purposes
• Communicate with payroll department regarding new hires and employee updates
• Analyze received information to determine compliance with company hiring processes
• Receive, verify, and process worker materials including name badges, Form I-9s, request forms, and payroll; ensure compliance with company SOP and legal standards
• Problem-solve and follow-up on unresolved issues to ensure accuracy of employee information in the system
• Manage corporate employee personnel files and documents within HCHB

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Must have at least 2 years of administrative experience.
• Must have experience in an employee-facing role or in a customer service role.
• One year of HR related experience is preferred.
• Must have basic Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and Excel. Advanced skills are preferred.
• Previous experience serving employees in multiple states is highly preferred.
• Previous experience using PeopleSoft HCM is preferred.
• Previous experience, knowledge, and understanding of home health or hospice operations is preferred.
