Talus Payments is Hiring an Account Retention Specialist - AMR I Near Dallas, TX

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for client retention activities for a customer focused payment processing company. Account Retention Specialist’s will to get in front of issues that could result in attrition. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, enjoy working in a fast paced setting, and work well in a production driven environment. 

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Monitor key indicators that could predict client dissatisfaction and possible attrition
  • Handle all escalation calls live.
  • Follow up on clients after save attempts to ensure actions taken will retain the client
  • Demonstrate the willingness and ability to appropriately handle and resolve escalated issues to clients satisfaction
  • Communicate and support process change initiatives as directed by Management
  • Adher to company policies and procedures for the team
  • Other job duties as assigned to meet business needs
  • Positive, Can Do Attitude
  •  Ability to quickly identify clients’ needs and provide viable resolutions
  •  Develop and maintain an understanding of all pricing models and the various pricing structures associated
  •  Ability to use Fast Analytics to determine the best pricing plan to meet the client’s needs while managing profitability for Talus.
  • Ensure a “saved” percentage of at least 65% of all cancelation requests handled
  • Responsible for maintaining KPI’s such as email and ticket response times
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Maintain reporting as directed by management
  •  Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures 

 Minimum Requirements: 

  • 3-5 years experience in B2B client retention required
  • Highly data driven mind set and a passon for analytics
  • Strong ability to motivate others to achieve objectives
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to prioritize and multi task in a face paced environment
  • Must be familiar with standard call center metrics
  • Strong Presentation Skills with Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
