Headquartered in San Diego, Elite Security & Staffing provides security guards and event staff to facilities and events primarily in the California & Tennessee markets. Facilities under contract include stadiums, arenas, amphitheaters, convention centers, universities, office buildings, residential communities, retail establishments and hundreds of other facilities where people live, work and play.
We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative to play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our client base. You will manage an active book of business, develop strategic sales plans, and foster strong client relationships. Your goal will be to exceed sales targets, contribute to the company's overall success, and maintain the highest standards of service quality.

Base compensation range of $45k - $55k, with Commission range of 20k -40k.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- SALES STRATEGY & PLANNING: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company goals and objectives. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends. Collaborate with senior management to set sales targets, budgets, and forecasts.
- CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships. Understand clients' security needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements. Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing concerns promptly.
- BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including cross-selling and upselling to existing clients. Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company's services and expand the client base. Seeks/creates opportunities to expand business with current clients; identifies further business needs and develops and presents solutions. Grows existing accounts to full potential and generates maximum revenue on a long-term basis.
- SALES PROCESS OPTIMIZATION: Streamline and improve the sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing. Utilize existing CRM systems and tools to track sales activities, monitor progress, and generate reports.
- PERFORMANCE METRICS & REPORTING: Analyze sales data and metrics to evaluate performance against targets. Prepare regular sales reports and present findings to senior management. Develops sales documentation including but not limited to spreadsheets, correspondence, sales proposals, presentations, and internal paperwork for new customer proposals and presentations.
- COMPLIANCE & QUALITY ASSURANCE: Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Uphold the company's commitment to delivering high-quality security services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND CHARACTERISTICS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful sales management in the security industry or a related field.
- Excellent presentation, organization, written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience in preparing written proposals and presentations.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
- Knowledge of security industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Experienced in negotiating agreements.
- Ability to support clients’ needs in a professional responsive manner.
- Excellent computer skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM.
- Experience in convention and trade show operations.
