Requirements

• Lead the initial set-up phase to establish trade execution capabilities.

• Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions in collaboration with our sales/account experts.

• Sourcing to match demand for relevant certificates in the NA voluntary Carbon Offset markets.

• Collaborate closely with our Trading and Middle Office teams to follow the entire trade cycle from drafting contracts to delivery.

• Support the development of EKI's Carbon Offsets offering, services, products, and marketing materials.

• Supporting our Business Development and Operations teams in North America through training on Carbon Offset markets and support with sales and customer cases.

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Carbon Offsets when required in client meetings, conferences, and other corporate events.

• Build and maintain strong relationships.

Requirements, Competencies and Certifications -

• Knowledge of renewable energy certificate markets.

• Proven understanding of market functionality and price implications from supply and demand.

• Ability to quickly understand complex requests and transform them into trade opportunities.

• Strong interest in sustainability and environmental market mechanisms.

• Instinct for business.

• Motivated and able to work with limited supervision.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.

• Ability to look for growth opportunities for the company.

• Exceptional organizational skills with ability to multitask.

Minimum Education & Experience

• Master’s degree within finance, economy and/or energy/environmental studies with economic profile.

• 5 years of experience in similar role.

• Commercial experience preferred.
