Under the direction of the Associate Director - Project Management, the Sr. Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects and phases of multiple solar & storage EPC projects and programs. The Sr. Project Manager is primarily responsible for collaboration with project stakeholders such as owners, utilities, landowners, municipalities, developers, consultants, subcontractors, and other project partners and internal resources such as engineering and construction professionals. The Sr. Project Manager will achieve project and corporate goals which are generally described as follows: project schedule, scope management, budget performance, quality requirements, and safety. The Sr. Project Manager will foster a cooperative relationship with project partners and internal resources while meeting the Company strategic goals and continually messaging the value of the Company services to stakeholders. This position has project P&L responsibility.
The preferred candidate will have large-scale commercial solar experience, as well as experience in constructing substations and/or solar interconnects into substations.
Travel: Expected to be 25% of overall work time.
Location: This position is based in our Columbia, MD office. The ideal candidate will be local or open to relocation. Remote may be considered for exceptional candidates in select locations.
Supervision of Others:
Supervision and direction of project staff, including Project Managers, Project Engineers/Asssistant Project Managers, Construction Managers, Superintendents, and Assistant Superintendents; as well as supervision of external project subcontractors and vendors.
