Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating design closely with discipline leads and engineering in team environment.
  • Ensuring customer specification/requirements, product standards, BIM execution plan.
  • Limited travel may be required.
  • Lead Reviewing and Generating: 2D-3D Models, Drawings, Details, Schedules, Packages.
  • Lead Coordinating & Clash Resolution.
  • Lead Producing project imagery and visualizations for use in documents and presentations.
  • Lead Cutsheet Review, Asset Tracking, Design Calculations
Qualifications:

Education:

  • Associate or Bachelors degree in engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Autodesk Application or other CAD-Drafting Certification.
  • Experience (With Degree): 4 Experience (No Degree): 6

The ideal candidate will have some or all of the following:

  • Strong initiative and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively with peers to resolve issues and implement change.
  • Organized and task-oriented, with attention to detail and follow through.
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
  • Example critical thinking, problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstration of computer-based skills: Microsoft Suite (Windows, Outlook, Excel), and other 3rd party or in-house software.
  • Exposure to 2D and 3D CAD utilization.

The ideal candidate will have at least one or many of each of the following categories:

  • Disciplines:
    • Mechanical, Process, Utility, Plumbing
  • Systems:
    • Electrical, Controls, Structural, Piping, Ducting
  • Market Experience:
    • Utilities, Process, Packaging, Manufacturing, Wastewater, Fabrication & Skids
  • Processes:
    • Drawing Interpretation & Generation: Sketch, Diagram, P&ID, Product Sheet, Plan
    • BIM Modeling, BIM Coordination, Digital Twins
  • Applications (Alternatives):
    • AutoCAD, Revit, Plant 3D, MicroStation
    • Navisworks (Revisto), Bluebeam (Adobe), Microsoft Excel (Gsheets)
