DEI/ HR CoordinatorDKC is looking for a DEI/ HR Coordinator to assist in the fostering of a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment and culture! We’re looking for a creative and highly empathetic people-person who feels most alive when collaborating. The person in this role will be responsible for the thought-partnering and execution of DEI and HR related projects, events, training, and overall employee engagement as it pertains to the vision of the DEI team, and the People team at large.This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President of DEI.What you’ll do:Human Resources Coordinating
Provide administrative support to the HR team.
Coordinate/ Conduct initial interviews for entry level staff
Administer 30-day check ins for entry level team members
DEI Coordinating
Assist with the planning and execution of inclusion & belonging programs at DKC, including workshops, trainings, meetings, and external speakers.
Ability to research complex subjects and recognize credible sources.
Create and maintain multiple spreadsheets, including department budget.
Complex calendar maintenance. Ability to manage SVP of DEI calendar and DEI training & events calendars.
Manage meeting agendas and recap notes for all meetings.
Co- lead affinity groups by fostering a safe space for those with a shared identity, facilitate insightful conversations within the group, and share pressing concerns of the affinity group with The People Team.
Prepare DEI presentation decks and draft DEI communications.
Assist with the compiling and tracking of DEI metrics.
Support the DEI team in identifying current employee needs and new trends, making recommendations to existing programs and/or policies, etc.
Liaise with internal DKC groups as needed
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in DEI or HR within a corporate setting
Strong communication skills in both written and verbal communication
Proficiency in Microsoft suite and Google Docs
Strong project management skills, with sharp attention to detail, balancing multiple tasks, and overseeing timely and high-quality work.
Autonomous, resourceful, collaborative, and ability to effectively troubleshoot.
This should be a person regularly respected for their authenticity, thoughtfulness, and humility. A highly observant and empathetic person.
