Strategic Account Manager

Job Location: Remote CT, NorthEast Territory

Operating from over 20 years of experience delivering secure enterprise class networks, Ventus develops cellular wireless and fixed line SD-WAN, Hybrid WAN, and Cellular WAN solutions for an expanding array of business connectivity applications.

Position

Responsible for managing and growing revenue by enhancing and developing relationships and sales opportunities within a strategic or key account. Understands the overall goals and strategy of the customer as it relates to technology implementation. These accounts are key, highly strategic and may have complex requirements.

What You Will Do and The Outcomes You Will Achieve

  • Develops and executes sales strategy including identification and qualification of opportunities.
  • Maintains detailed knowledge of account by establishing and developing strong relationships all key levels; identifies and engages influencers and decision-makers in for a positive outcome.
  • Creates and delivers formal presentations to customer base and participates in trade shows and other lead generation activities
  • Maintains detailed account profiles, account status and up-to-date reporting of activities in the CRM tool (i.e. Net Suite).
  • Meets and/or exceeds assigned revenue and ARR goals and objectives for accounts
  • Communicates throughout organization to keep team and management apprised of progress and next steps
  • Provides regular and accurate business forecasts

Who You Are and What You Bring

  • 5 years related experience, 3 years outside sales
  • Negotiation and Presentation skills
  • Understanding of prospecting customers for new business

Desired But Not Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
