Under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager I, the Information Technology Specialist II is responsible for implementing, configuring, supporting and maintaining Cloud Solutions (Azure, AzureAD, M365 servicers), firewalls, servers, storage systems, server applications and networking components to support the CalHR business units. Serving as a lead on the technical team, this person will support the CalHR cloud, on-premises infrastructure and server environment through strategic planning, acquisition, deployments, and operational management. The incumbent will communicate and maintain strong working relationships with customers, peers, management, service providers, and other agencies and departments. The incumbent will perform and participate in technical analysis project work to identify and solve business problems within the information technology division in the Network & Systems Administration team.
