Your role:

This position will be responsible for providing the HR support and leadership for the Global Functions leadership, including Directors and VP’s across the globe. This position manages initiatives related to organization and management team effectiveness and organization design. This position will also drive the common execution and implementation of HR processes across the function.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of business objectives and desired organizational culture!
  • Collaborate with management on a variety of HR and business-related issues, both strategic and operational.
  • Lead and own the execution of a multi-faceted talent plan that includes talent acquisition, compensation, talent development and retention.
  • Manage the Talent Planning Process by serving as a dedicated Talent Management Lead aligned to senior leadership teams in all the Global Functions by supporting Talent Review, A.C.E., Goal Setting, Succession Planning, Workforce Planning, Culture, Listening Systems, and Engagement.
  • Create and execute on a change management plan to create an inclusive, innovative and results driven culture.
  • Lead Best Place to Work activities and champion listening systems for continued improvement with Vice President level leaders and their respective organizations.
  • Partner with the Senior Leadership team to translate and drive alignment to the vision and culture.
  • Demonstrate independent judgement and makes HR decisions within scope.
  • Manage day-to-day employee relations, staffing, and compensation in partnership with managers and functional partners.
  • Analyze, develop key insights, and implement solutions based on HR Data related to talent planning and performance management and AAP.
  • Apply metrics and data to predict and analyze employee trends as it relates to recruitment, retention and engagement.
  • Lead employee promotion and hiring process; develop or update job descriptions, attend job fairs, assist with developing performance expectations.
  • Manage complex and ambiguous people situations/issues and independently coach, counsel and implement solutions with Senior Leadership.
  • Mentor, coach and train HR Reps and Sr. Reps to help grow and develop them.
  • Handle all compliance requirements and ensure ethical, non-discriminatory and safe work environment.
  • Partner internally with SMEs, HRBPs and use appropriate external benchmark data to bring innovative talent solutions and standard methodologies to the plant and to the HR team.

What you'll bring:

  • Strong foundational HR knowledge and experience in training, compensation, performance management, talent acquisition, change management, time keeping and organizational design. Demonstrated application of those skills and partnership with HR Centers of Expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with management teams and provide leadership during stressful situations.
  • Proven ability to lead and implement cultural change within an organization. Experience building programs that result in improved employee engagement, higher morale and employee retention.
  • Employee relations experience and experience working with employees to rollout processes or policies and demonstrated ability to manage and resolve conflict.
  • Ability to persuade and influence effectively at multiple levels of an organization, strong teamwork orientation and ability to coach and communicate effectively.
  • Strong project and process management skills.
  • Knowledge and working application of reading and understanding State and federal Laws and regulations including FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, EEO, Title VII, etc.
  • Comfortable and effective at facilitating across all levels of an organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5 years of HR experience that includes at least 3 years of generalist experience in a global and matrixed environment.
  • Health Care, Pharma, Med Device, and/or global experience preferred.
  • Workday and/or Kronos experience preferred.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $96,000 to $132,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
