The Dallas Symphony Association has an immediate opportunity for an experienced, detail-oriented Budgeting & Financial Analyst. The primary responsibilities of this vital position include leading the annual budget process, preparing updated financial forecasts throughout the year, ensuring budget compliance for all departments, and preparing variance analyses and explanations.
Other duties include (but are not limited to):
The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience. Financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting experience is required. Nonprofit accounting experience is a plus. Advanced Excel skills and experience with complex financial budget models are required, as well as familiarity with Sage Intaact or another cloud-based accounting system. A logical thought process and good analytical and organizational skills are required. Because this is a hands-on position that works closely with all departments in the organization, the successful candidate will be highly motivated and exhibit a positive attitude and a willingness to go “above and beyond” in dealings with fellow employees.
