- Monitors account activity to determine required expense reclasses.
- Prepares monthly reports as required.
- Prepares and publishes several financial analysis reports such as overtime and productivity.
- Analyzes and reports on various expense activities.
- Prepares monthly analysis for various P&L statements.
- Provides input to budgets and period forecasts related to assigned areas as requested.
- Prepares ad-hoc reports and analysis as required.
- Assists in the monthly/quarterly calculation of commissions and/or bonuses.
- Assists in the calculation and accrual of customer rebates.
- Assists in monthly financial close as needed.
- Participates in the annual plan preparation.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. An advanced degree or professional certification is a plus but not required.
- 2 years of experience in accounting or finance-related positions.
- Strong to advanced Access and Excel skills.
- Ability to manage and complete multiple projects on schedule with a high degree of accuracy.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with peers and workers in many areas outside Finance.
- Must be willing to complete both recurring monthly reporting and ad hoc projects.
- Practical knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) and Sarbanes-Oxley.
