This person will be a key asset in the future growth of the company. This individual will be integral to the company’s financial quarterly forecast, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis, acquisitions and new developments and special projects. This person will provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management and the Board of Directors including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis and other strategic projects. This person will research and analyze financial information and key performance indicator to provide financial and operational insights and support informed business decision making. The position reports to the Senior Financial Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, KPI’s etc) taking into account company’s goals and financial standing
• Prepare financial reports with reliable conclusions that management can use to improve financial performance, implement more effective operational strategies, and make capital allocation decisions
• Develop both operational and acquisition financial models to project future operating performance versus budget as well as evaluate returns on new acquisition opportunities
• Track and determine company financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
• Conduct financial due diligence on acquisition opportunities and assist with financial reporting integration
• Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions based on sound analysis
• Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making
• Provide data analytics support to EVP of Sales by analyzing and preparing the monthly bookings and commission calculations
• Interface with the company’s sponsor to field investor questions as well as provide insight and context on financial performance drivers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field
• One or more years of experience as a financial analyst or in a similar position
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of financial forecasting, budgeting, corporate finance and information analysis
• Experience in the following industries a plus: IT Infrastructure, Data Center Operations, Cloud and Managed Services
