Cypress Technologies is Hiring an Account Manager Near Austin, TX

JOB SUMMARY

The Account Manager will serve as liaison between the company and its customers. Incumbent will assess customer needs and develop relationship strategies and programs that produce business value and favorable customer experiences. Will monitor customer satisfaction and recommend approaches Cypress can implement to better serve their customers. Manage the day-to-day sales and service functions of the assigned customer base to generate the targeted gross revenue for Cypress Technologies.

BASIC SKILLS

  • · Ability to calculate production measurements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • · Actively participates in Safety Program
  • · Adheres to all quality assurance procedures
  • · Works overtime as required (sometimes with minimal/short notice)
  • · Participates or leads process improvement activities
  • · Field daily customer calls and emails
  • · Takes initiatives in customer satisfaction via process improvement plans and efficient reporting and flow of information
  • · Handle operational details to the benefit of the customer and the company
  • · Explain policies and procedures, if necessary
  • · Respond to customer complaints in a prompt and courteous manner
  • · Resolve customer conflicts as they arise
  • · Troubleshoot customer issues, determining root causes and operational improvements
  • · Resolve the issue for the customer and work to take preventative measures
  • · Offer sales solutions and implement process improvements
  • · Be responsible for quarterly reviews of performance, operational metrics, and ad hoc reports as needed
  • · Complete and maintain weekly customer open order reports
  • · Provide weekly customer forecasts
  • · Responsible for approving all shipments on specific customers, as customer needs/orders are subject to change
  • · Receive and enter all incoming Purchase Orders, verifying lead time and pricing
  • · Update and maintain customer web portals
  • · Attend (either in person or via tele-conference) weekly scheduling meetings in lieu of customer
  • · Responsible for creating and scheduling all returns of unacceptable items that are to be sent back from our customer
  • · Engage in current customer base to drive in house sales, and/or provide new contacts within current customer base for outside sales
  • · Maintains industry relationships
  • · Participate in weekly Quote meeting
  • · Prepare/present Quarterly Business Reviews to customers
  • · Attend potential new customer presentation/tours when requested
  • · Participate in New Product meetings as needed
  • · Complete and return customer open order reports within 3 days
  • · Requote customers when needed
  • · Structure BOMs for quoting purposes
  • · Gather and submit complete quote information from the customer into CTNET BOM parts
  • · Create new quotes for the customer when needed
  • · Prospect within the current customer base to build the sales pipeline of new opportunities
  • · Maintain a high level of understanding of the overall Cypress value proposition
  • · Identify customer needs and present Cypress solutions that fulfill those needs
  • · Develop and execute individual Major Account Plans for each Cypress customer
  • · Establish and expand strong relationships with key customer personnel
  • · Uphold contract and pricing integrity pursuant to the most current Cypress policy
  • · Maintain constant awareness of market trends, competitor activities and/or problem areas
  • · Maintain discipline and structure within areas of forecasting and pipeline management
  • · Any other duties and responsibilities as needed

EDUCATION

  • · High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • · 1-3 years customer service experience preferably in manufacturing environments

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

  • · Solid working knowledge of company's products and services
  • · Extensive experience in reporting
  • · Excellent customer service skillset
