Executive Assistant and Board Liason:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Executive Assistant and Board Liaison. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring effective communication and coordination between the Board, Committees, and the Executive Director. Your responsibilities will include managing various administrative tasks, facilitating meetings, and supporting special projects to enhance the overall governance and operations of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Develop updates and briefings for the Board to keep members informed and engaged.
· Coordinate Board and Committee meeting agendas and compile supporting materials.
· Ensure timely handling of all governance matters, including follow-up on action items from meetings.
· Conduct research on best practices in philanthropic governance to enhance organizational effectiveness.
· Act as a key point of contact for Board members, addressing inquiries and providing necessary information.
· Attend Board and Committee Meetings, take notes, and prepare final meeting minutes for distribution.
· Manage the Board portal to facilitate efficient communication and document sharing.
· Collaborate with the Board and Executive Director on special projects related to philanthropic initiatives.
· Support the planning of Board meetings, retreats, and events in collaboration with the team.
· Assist the team with various administrative tasks, including scheduling and travel logistics.
· Contribute to the development of communications materials such as annual reports and impact updates.
· Support the management of interns and fellows.
· Monitor online presence on external sites and the organization's website for consistency and accuracy.
· Manage charitable ratings and handle external requests effectively.
· Conduct meeting preparation and research as needed.
· Support the maintenance of documents and records.
· Stay informed about current events and news coverage within the organizations issue areas.
· Provide event and special project support as required.
· Engage with donors, partners, and grantees to strengthen community relationships.
· Conduct research projects as needed.
· Assist in the maintenance of CRM system.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
· Proven experience in board liaison or executive support roles.
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
· Proficiency in using office software and collaboration tools.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
· Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
· Familiarity with philanthropic governance practices is a plus.

Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
