Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a Construction company in the Greater Boston area to identify an Accounts Payable Manager to join their team.

• The Opportunity: Reporting to the Controller, the Accounts Payable Manager will play a key role in automating and streamlining the accounts payable process.

The Accounts Payable Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support the implementation of an efficient paperless accounts payable system.
• Oversee the accounts payable workflow, ensuring prompt approvals from managers to meet month-end closing targets.
• Validate and align tickets and invoices; proactively address any discrepancies or missing documents.
• Input authorized and matched invoices into the accounting software.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of vendor statements.
• Compile data for monthly accrued expenses report.
• Organize and manage accounts payable records.
• Professionally handle vendor inquiries and communications.
• Contribute as required to annual financial statement audits and other audit processes (e.g., tax, unemployment).
• Provide assistance to the Controller when necessary.
• Perform additional tasks as delegated

Qualifications:

• 5 years of full cycle Accounts Payable experience
• Experience with an automated accounts payable system is a plus.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• Construction industry experience highly preferred
