Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is Hiring a Director, Business Development Near Franklin, IL

Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for prospecting and closing on assigned accounts/territories and for managing the relationships with key accounts and maximizing all opportunities through those accounts.
  • Develops and fosters business relationships with all customers.
  • Works with senior management, operations, purchasing, logistics and sales teams both domestically and globally to recommend sales and marketing strategies and programs that will help achieve targeted growth, profit and market share relative to corporate goals and trends in the industry and economy.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel
  • Mastery of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Mastery of Microsoft Word
  • Other software skills as needed such as Visio, Access, Outlook etc.

Physical Requirements

  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components
  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum five years global sales experience required
  • Minimum ten years industry experience required

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

  • Professional certification may be required in some areas.
