Duties & Responsibilities
  • Grow the imaging business: increase market share in modality year over year.
  • Achieve overall dollar volume in modality sales.
  • Drive linear volume by quarter.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all ISO regulations.
  • Ensure assigned AEs are actively covering and converting capital equipment sales across all product lines and market segments.
  • Construct and manage quarterly and weekly forecasting.
  • Develop and manage assigned AE territories.
  • Align resources and activities to Cassling's Key Descriptors.
  • Actively support strategic planning.
  • Support the Mission Planning, Strategic Sales Process and Debriefing process
  • Mentor and guide the professional development of each AE to optimal performance.
  • Coordinate Margin Analysis process.
  • Manage expenses to improve bottom line.
  • Manage discounts and concessions to improve bottom line.
  • Provide regular updates to the VP of Sales, reporting on open issues, sales development, and potential customers.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, assigning work, disciplining, and appraising performance of those supervised by the position.
  • Conduct quarterly meetings to ensure personal and professional developments plans are in place and quarterly coaching is documented.
  • Ensure effective impact planning is conducted.
  • Implement the AE compensation plans
  • Responsible for ensuring the AE's maintain accurate CRM info on each project and documenting won/lost orders.
  • Required to adhere to hospital credentialing requirements including but not limited to annual immunizations, drug screening, background checks, etc. as dictated by sited JCAHO policy.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned by manager.
Major Work Relationships
  • As an integral part of ensuring quality product delivery and performance, coordinates efforts with all other sales functions and all levels of management in order to maintain the fiscal integrity of the company, meet customer needs and provide quality customer service.
  • Routinely interacts and coordinates efforts with customers, vendors and a variety of services external to Cassling in order to facilitate business, meet customer needs, and provide timely and responsive quality customer service

  • Willing and able to work independently in an unstructured and minimally supervised environment.
  • Willing and able to travel and work beyond normal 40 hour work week, including 9-10 hour days and some weekend work.
  • A team player, cooperative.
  • Required to remain drug free and abide by the Drug Free Workplace policy.
Education & Experience
  • Education: Four year Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or Business or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years sales experience preferably in the medical imaging industry. Prior management experience desired.
