Company Description

The Courtyard by Marriott Boston Downtown-North Station is a 220-key hotel located in downtown Boston’s Bulfinch Triangle. The hotel is part of the Parcel 1B project, a transit-oriented development and the first large-scale workforce housing project in the “Changing City: Boston 2030” plan. With its chic and urban design, the hotel offers 2,500 square feet of meeting space. Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Director of Human Resources at Courtyard by Marriott Boston Downtown-North Station. The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for day-to-day HR tasks including HR policies, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws. This role is primarily located in Boston, MA but allows for some remote work. Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Human Resources (HR) practices and procedures
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR policies
  • Expertise in employee relations and performance management
  • Familiarity with labor and employment law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
