Cortex Sustainability Intelligence is Hiring a Human Resources Analyst Near Nashville, TN

We are looking for a driven Human Resources Generalist who has a passion for people and making a difference. Our teammate will work cross-functionally with different departments to recruit new talent and develop a culture of growth and development. We unlock visibility across portfolios to save owners and tenants money every day and accelerate the path to net zero.

Key Responsibilities include:

Recruiting:

  • Own the candidate experience by designing and managing job postings, job descriptions and position requirements
  • Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline 
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and performing phone screenings
  • Schedule interviews for candidates
  • Serve as point of contact for candidates throughout the recruiting process

Employee Experience and Benefits:

  • Manage onboarding and offboarding for employees in coordination with team leads
  • Serve as leader of Cortex’s Culture Committee by defining objectives, involving proper stakeholders and sharing actionable insights with the Leadership Team
  • Act as culture ambassador for Cortex by abiding by and promulgating core company values
  • Strategize ways to continuously improve company culture 
  • Plan and manage all logistics around team events (Summer Offsite, Holiday Party and Hackathons, etc.)
  • Field questions from employees regarding benefits and payroll (work with Director of Finance, as needed)
  • Manage relationship with PEO provider, Justworks 

Analytical and Administrative Support:

  • Act as an analytical athlete, working on a multitude of different types of business problems in support of the sales, operations and customer success teams
  • Be the lead office manager, ensuring all team members have the tools and technology they need to do their job effectively

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 years of experience working in an HR or Recruiting role
  • Advanced attention-to-detail and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both internally and externally
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate data effectively
  • Demonstrated problem solving abilities and capability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suites
  • Location: Nashville, TN preferred
