Cordia is partnered with a premier housing non-profit who is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Payable (AP) professional to join on of our top non-profit clients team for a temporary assignment of 2-3 months. This position is crucial in maintaining the financial stability of their organization, as it covers maternity leave.
Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Duration: 2-3 months
Pay Rate: $20-25 per hour
Software Experience: MRI or Yardi experience is highly preferred
Target Start Date: Immediately
Responsibilities:
- Process monthly invoices, ranging from 50 to 100 invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts to validate the authenticity of the expenses.
- Verify the proper approval and coding of invoices before processing.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry into the accounting system, with a primary focus on MRI software and consideration of Yardi or similar Real Estate (R/E) software.
- Reconcile discrepancies and resolve any issues with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with the preparation of periodic reports and audits related to Accounts Payable activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant Accounts Payable experience.
- Proficiency in MRI software is a strong preference, and experience with Yardi or similar R/E software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and invoice processing.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of Accounts Payable (AP) experience.
