ConMed Corporation is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative
The role of the Inside Sales Representative (ISR) will entail sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails and other remote communication. The ISR will be considered part of a sales team and work closely with a Field Sales Representative and/or Regional Sales Director. Primary duty will be tracking and following up on leads within the territory, calling on existing and prospective accounts to introduce and/or check in on the status of use of CONMED products and services. An ISR will assist in the achievement, and act in support of, the sales of CONMED products and services into the approved markets in support of assigned company goals and quotas. Duties and Responsibilities Primary objective is consistent achievement of monthly/ quarterly revenue and margin goals for the assigned territory through phone, email, and other electronic methods of creating business remotely. This translates to the following specific responsibilities: Generating sales by contacting customers who have been identified as targets within the geographic region that is assigned. Have a quota to achieve on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis that is independent of the corresponding Field Sales Representative's quota. Tracking of performance to quota will be provided and the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for the effort to achieve this objective. Creating and maintaining Opportunities within the company's CRM platform. This entails estimating the value of an opportunity, advancing the opportunity along stages, documenting conversations corresponding with the opportunity as well as updating contact information for all accounts. as known, within the assigned territory. Accurate Forecasting – consistent implementation of pipeline management and forecast discipline to assure forecast accuracy for region. Execute specific Business Plans as they are presented, both for internal management and with CONMED sales channels. Ensure that all established policies and business practices are consistent. Exhibit commitment to all assigned tasks and responsibilities by demonstrating leadership, impeccable integrity, strong work ethic, and commitment to customer satisfaction. Document and obtain requests for approvals when necessary for special pricing or other customer agreements and channel contract terms. Build and maintain professional, responsive, and high-integrity relationships. Exercise good judgment and discretionary decision authority to take advantage of opportunities to drive over achievement of business goals and objectives. Travel as necessary to achieve business objectives. Gather information and convey that information to Marketing as well as document that information in the company's CRM program. Work closely with Field Sales Representatives to align on targets, coordinate local sales related activities to close opportunities, and create a robust opportunity pipeline. Participate fully in training sessions, meetings, skill building, and professional development classes. Actively participate in National and Regional Sales Meetings. Perform other duties as assigned and requested. Requirements Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant work experience. Prior experience with Medical Devices, Inside Sales, Field Sales, contracts, and national buying groups preferred. Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range for this position is $60,000 to $102,000. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level. The salary range is CONMED’s good faith belief at the time of this posting.
