Position: Buying Professional
Location: Houston, TX - 77041
Duration: 6 Months
Description:
*******Main skillset here is “prior buying and SAP experience”. SAP knowledge is really important.********
- Responsible for executing and maintaining Purchase to pay process for assigned parts/suppliers
- Send out Request for quotes to suppliers and compare quotes for Total Cost of Ownership.
- Convert Purchase requisitions in to Purchase orders.
- Confirm delivery of POs from suppliers.
- Expedite parts with suppliers to ensure on time delivery performance.
- Resolve invoicing issues.
- Support with onboarding of new suppliers.
- Work with warehouse and receiving to prioritize delivery of material to production floor.
- Support supply chain manager in process improvement projects.
- Promote Lean concepts as applicable to supply chain management processes.
- Utilize Power BI/Tableau to analyze purchasing data to drive savings and improvements.
- Support purchasing KPIs.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
