Pavement - Modern & Recycled Fashion is looking for experienced, fashion minded individuals with knowledge of fabrics, styles, current retail trends and eras to fill buyer roles at our Montrose location. One of the most important roles in all our stores is the buyer position. Buyers are responsible for engaging with sellers, selecting pieces that our shoppers are looking for, maintaining the sales floor, fitting rooms, register, and various other projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Assist customers in finding the right pieces for their needs.
- Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean, full, and organized sales floor and workstation
- Must have weekend availability
- Select and price gently used items from our sellers
Requirements:
- Previous experience in secondhand buying is preferred in stores like Platos Closet, Buffalo Exchange or Uptown Cheapskate
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and handling cash
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Starting Pay is negotiable depending on experience. We are also always looking for potential to grow in the company. Those who are very project focused, responsible, and organized can rise to roles as trainers and key holders.
