The Buyer is responsible for supply chain activities while providing exemplary customer service and delivering high quality services. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, supplier relationships, and other responsibilities as outline below while ensuring compliance with procedures and processes in place.

Responsibility

• Coordinate the procurement of material in alignment with forecasted demand

• Source new parts (work with suppliers and internal sources on part qualification)

• Manage supplier invoice queries and resolve in agreed timescales

• Oversight of material flow within a subcontract work environment

• Identify priority/risk components and escalate as necessary

• Collaborate cross functionally to meet business goals

• Maintain a positive work relationship with suppliers

• Work as a team to successfully meet daily performance goals

• Support audit activities as necessary

• Participate in company lean initiatives

• Perform other duties as may be required by management

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, supply chain preferred, or Bachelor's degree with experience in a manufacturing environment

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to communicate cross functionally

• Self-Starter with the ability to initiate process improvement

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in MS Office (MS Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)

Compensation

• Target salary is $70,000 - $75,000 annual bonus
