With minimal supervision the Operations Care Coordinator will coordinate and maintain scheduling visits for home healthcare staff in accordance with business and client requirements. Information will be entered into the scheduling database, both staff and clients, with schedules generated on a 2 weeks advance notification. Any adjustments and/or exceptions information will be immediately entered in scheduling system. The OCC is part of an integrated client care plan and as such will also be part of a regular on-call rotation. The OCCwill perform duties in the office during normal work hours, 8:30-4:30 Duties:
Responsible for development and continual monitoring of the work schedules for Caregivers to meet client care needs, adjusts staffing according to available staff and reports changes to appropriate supervisors, assure accuracy of the time reports, verify hours worked daily, bonus hours, overtime hours and benefit days, and calculate staffing based on adjusted census daily.
Timely communication of scheduling changes between office and field staff. Prepares weekly schedule for field staff and provides notification to employees and care providers and clients regarding any day-to-day changes.
Assist team members in onboarding of clients and caregivers.
Assist team members with using Wellsky – act as technical expert for problem solving.
Reporting as required and requested
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1 year of scheduling experience, home health care preferred.
6 months experience using complex software systems.
High school graduate or equivalent level of education preferred.
