Position: CUSTODIAL OPERATIONS COORDINATOR (DFW AIRPORT, TX CAMPUS)

Job Description:

The Coordinator position is central to DFW at this time but available to grow as efficiencies and solutions drive performance improvements.

 Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Maintains data quality of Quality Control, Equipment PM, and Project Scheduler systems by performing regular data audits and resolving integrity issues in partnership with terminal management and supervision teams.
  • Conducts daily quality control cleanliness inspections, measures improvements and reports deficiencies.
  • Conducts quarterly safety inspections and guides annual safety audits at all relative airport locations
  • Conducts regular performance audits to include project schedule adherence, equipment preventative maintenance and status, training agenda and any other ad hoc requests received through airport customers
  • Manage escalations in equipment PMs and repairs
  • Engages DFS staff and supervisors in the field; identifies areas of opportunity and institutes training for improvement as a daily activity
  • Provide analysis and support in resolving complex logistic and communication issues including proactive audits to reduce the risk of errors and miscommunications
  • Assist in development, preparation, and delivery of value-added reports and metrics (KPI’s) on quality assurance (training), quality control (inspections), and resources (equipment & project schedules) to support business strategy and initiatives between airport and DFS
  • Acts as a first point of contact for local support for DFS site management
  • Establish and maintain strong partnership and communication with customer Field Supervisors, DFS Operations Directors, DFS Supervisors, and vendor field technicians.

Qualifications


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Qualifications:  

  • The position reports to the Senior Director of Operations, Irving, TX
  • The position interacts with other professional colleagues and should establish and maintain productive relationships with the Directors of Customer Experience and site supervision to promote mutual understanding of our aim to improve the quality of resources, tracking, documentation and customer service.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience 
  • 4 years of work experience in Custodial Operations, preferably in an Airport setting 
  • Experience with process improvements, designing solutions and controls for standard daily operational needs, and process  
  • Experience collaborating in a professional environment with vendors and internal stakeholders with solid business judgment 
  • Ability to communicate with management, thrive in ambiguity, and navigate complexity to develop solutions 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment 
  • Microsoft Office experience and skills required at an intermediate level or above.

Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.
