Overview:
We are seeking a warm and friendly individual to join our team as a Front Desk Medical Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our organization, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our patients, visitors, and staff. You will help ensure a positive experience from check-in to check-out, helping the patients and the providers. If you have a friendly demeanor, and can handle a fast-paced environment at times, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Be reliable and customer-oriented.
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately, schedule appointments.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Handle patient and doctor requests, helping to resolve any issues or complaints promptly
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
-Working in a smaller healthcare setting of 5-6 employees.
Requirements:
- Prior medical/chiropractic experience is preferred. Bilingual/Spanish not necessary but a plus.
- Excellent communication skills a plus, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite. EMR utilized.
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Note: This position requires 2 evenings/week, patient care finishing at approximately 6pm. Tuesday and Friday afternoon off, no weekends.
