CONTROLLER
Clean Scapes is the largest commercial landscaping contractor based in Texas, with locations in Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Forth Worth, and Houston. SUMMARY OF POSITION
As a Controller at Clean Scapes, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in financial management, analysis, and leadership. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial success of Clean Scapes in a dynamic and growing organization.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Oversight:
- Lead financial planning, analysis, and support of the CFO in strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand key business drivers and provide financial guidance.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Drive the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and realistic budgets.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Financial Reporting:
- Generate timely and accurate financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Provide insightful analysis on financial results, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
- Cost Analysis and Optimization:
- Conduct in-depth cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with operational teams to implement and track cost improvement initiatives.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive analysis.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Manage cash flow, ensuring liquidity for day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
- Optimize working capital to enhance overall financial performance.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.

COMPENSATION
