REPORTS TO General Manager | ||||
CLASS SUMMARY This position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical services of a complex nature for the General Manager and the Board of Trustees which is directly related to the management and general business operations of GPMTD. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure that GPMTD's operations are maintained in an effective and efficient manner. Has access or knowledge of critical GPMTD confidential strategies and/or critical management decisions. Acts as Office Administrator by making sure the critical front office area is covered at all times and with that knowledge coordinates with other departments the need for coverage. | ||||

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE Associate's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred, one to two years of related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. |
KNOWLEDGE Recordkeeping principles and practices; Modern office practices; Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, discretion and confidentiality. |
SKILLS Ability to be sensitive and responsive to customer complaints; ability to empathize with and diffuse customer complaints; team building; analytical and problem solving; decision making; effective verbal, written and listening communication skills; attention to detail and high level of accuracy; high level of organization and time management; computer skills including the ability to operate spreadsheets and word-processing programs; Stress management and sufficient skill in typing to complete 60 - 75 words per minute accurately. |
