Our Sales Development Representatives will be challenged to hunt vendors and suppliers to drive long-lasting relationships that fuel our growth and bring Choco to the next level.

This position is would come into our Chicago office (located in River North) at least 3 days a week but also travel to client sites on a weekly basis.

What you will do

  • Proactively prospect and quality 100 suppliers via inbound and outbound channels
  • Manage your territory of supplier leads and set up qualified meetings for Vendor Account Executives
  • Build and nurture a robust pipeline of suppliers and deliver accurate acquisition forecasts
  • Develop cadence and outreach strategies to best get prospects engaged and interested in Choco’s product and solutions
  • Ensure discovery tactics are able to hone in on ICP leads being passed to Account Executives
  • Help prioritize business opportunities and develop action plans to achieve set goals
  • Create long-term business partnerships, utilizing suppliers as a multiplier for the company's growth
  • Think outside of the box and present new ideas, processes, and opportunities that exceed customer expectations

What we're looking for

  • 1 years of experience in sales with a proven record of success
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; sales; and negotiation skills
  • Data-driven mindset and experience using numbers to create efficient processes
  • Creative seller who is comfortable adapting a pitch to various audiences
  • Experience working within a CRM (Salesforce preferred) and Google Workspace

Compensation Range

  • The compensation range (OTE) for this position is $75,000. - $85,000. The actual compensation offered depends on the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
