Manager, Inside Sales
Position Overview:
The Chicago Bulls are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Inside Sales Manager to join our team, and lead the construction and development of our highly regarded Inside Sales Program. This person will have a wide range of responsibilities which impact our Ticket Sales business at the highest level. A passion to recruit, develop, motivate and mentor Representatives through the entirety of the program will be vital. Heavy emphasis will be placed on the implementation and execution of effective sales processes, along with the team's overall professional growth. Ideal candidate must possess strong business sales competence and leadership abilities to ensure departmental and organizational goals are met.

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities of the Inside Sales Manager are to recruit, hire, support and teach Inside Sales Representatives to optimize all sales efforts - including new season ticket and partial plans, along with group sales. Other responsibilities include:
  • Continuously recruiting and maintaining a pipeline of candidates by working closely with Human Resources to efficiently fill open positions.
  • Management and performance of the team, with a focus on driving new business revenue via various campaigns and initiatives.
  • Building and implementing an onboarding and training plan centered on development including: education on all product offerings, pricing and sales strategies, market trends and industry best practices.
  • Setting clearly defined daily, weekly, monthly and annual targets for all staff members, and providing the respective training and guidance to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Holding Representatives accountable on weekly hustle metrics - with heavy emphasis on face-to-face appointments - and accurate pipeline management.
  • Supporting team members by evaluating sales calls and attending out of office, virtual and arena appointments.
  • Implementing bi-weekly one-on-ones to reinforce sales processes and provide continual feedback.
  • Assisting in establishing KPI’s and benchmarks for all Representatives.
  • Collaborating with leadership team to develop and efficiently maintain all sales campaigns and lead distribution in CRM.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of previous sales/retention experience. Prefer one to two years of successful sales leadership experience regardless of previous industry.
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function in fast-paced environment, balance multiple projects and commit to timelines.
  • Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Outlook), as well as ability to learn and master new software programs including the CRM and ticketing systems.
  • Ability to navigate the arena in order to visit clients during home games, and escort potential customers on meetings while showing various seating options and spaces.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work game nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
