CDL1000 is hiring full time, dependable, and experienced Sales Executive for our Chicago, Illinois Location!

Hours:Mon - Fri 8am - 5p

Position Overview:

We are looking for an outgoing individual to support our sales team and be the connecting face with our customers with updates on their shipping needs

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ability to multitask

  • Manage customer’s day to day operations

  • Prioritize appointment scheduling, tracking and tracing, and communication with dispatch

  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry and customer service updates are provided

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers

  • Assist in resolving any issues that come up in the normal operations of freight.

  • Ensuring final charges are sent to customer with supported documentation (ex: J1, POD, BOL)

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in transportation domestic and/or international intermodal freight

with a focus in trucking/asset

  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently solve transportation issues

  • Ownership mentality

  • Critical and analytical thinking skills

  • Strong organization and communication skills

  • Comfortable with fast-paced growth

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 Year Experience with Customer Service, Account Manager, or Operations Representative (or similar experience)

  • 2-4 years transportation or logistics experience domestic and/or international intermodal freight

  • Knowledge of intermodal modes of transportation

  • Professional attitude and team player
